Description

HP 1405-8G v2 Switches are plug-and-play unmanaged fixed-configuration 8 port Gigabit Layer 2 switches designed for small offices. These unmanaged switches are preconfigured for fast, easy installation, with connections using low-cost Ethernet copper cabling.

 

They support administration-friendly features such as auto negotiated port speed and automatic detection of the Ethernet cable type (MDI/MDIX). They are Class B certified, approved for both business and home office locations.

 

The HP 1405-8G v2 includes energy saving features such as Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) and idle-port power down. They are fanless for quiet and “green” operation, designed for high reliability, long life, low power consumption, and low total cost of ownership.
